Club Trax — The Incumbent (2003)

Club Trax — what Sapphire used to run

The incumbent NightLedger replaces. A Windows thick-client made by a small Las Vegas shop (System Dynamic). These are its real screens, pulled from the archived vendor site — timestamped December 2003 in the file data.

● Abandonware — website dead since ~2016, trademark cancelled Aug 2023
1 · Fast Bar — the POS / bar screen
Club Trax Fast Bar POS screen
A grid of drink buttons on a gold-and-black touchscreen. Functional for 2003 — but this is the bar, the part the POS already does well. Not where the fight is.
2 · Dancer Info — the heart of it
Club Trax dancer info screen
Every dancer with stage name, sheriff's (work) card + expiration, photo, and “Amount Due” — so yes, dancers carry a running balance the house tracks night to night. Two tells worth seeing: her Social Security number is in plain text, and the form says “Hired By / Hired Date” — employee language baked right in. We encrypt that data and never call her “hired.” Also note On Stage / Missed Stage Call — stage rotation, which we deferred.
3 · Dance Dollars — the scrip sale
Club Trax dance dollars sale screen
Selling scrip in $20 / $100 blocks with a 10% surcharge (the house's straight profit), printed as tickets, tracked by manager and floor area. Exactly the dancer-dollar flow we're rebuilding — minus the printer and the 2003 paint.
The bar we're clearing: a 20-year-old Windows program, abandoned by its maker, storing dancers' Social Security numbers in plain text and calling them employees. NightLedger is the same job done on a tablet, in the cloud — encrypted, fraud-catching built in, and worded to protect the club, not sink it.
